The lemma is the entry or keyword in a dictionary (lexicon, encyclopaedia). It is referred to both as the basic form of a word and as the citation or basic form of a lexeme.

Our lemma management system is used to manage the contents of the following encyclopaedias:

• Kindlers Literatur Lexikon

• Enzyklopädie der Neuzeit

• Der Neue Pauly

A distinction is made between the following article types:

• Lemma/Sublemma

• Author/co-author

• Volume

• Subject
