cusy is very concerned with protecting the user’s privacy. Reasonable measures will be taken to prevent unauthorized access to any personal information.

Principles

• cusy uses personal data provided by the user such as name, address, phone, or e-mail address only when necessary to ensure the operation of cusy.

• Personal data from users will not be made available to third parties by cusy as long as the user did not authorize it or legal requirements apply.

• cusy users have the ability to share data and content with other users. They also have the ability to make data and content public. However all data and content which a user uploads or stores within the cusy platform will not be shared by cusy with any third party unless directed by the respective user. cusy can not be held responsible if a breach in confidentiality is caused by misconfiguration from the customer or a user to which permissions have been granted by a customer.

Log files and cookies

• Each time the user accesses the cusy website, data will the saved in a log file on the servers of cusy. This data may contain a timestamp of the access, information about the browser used (user-agent), the Internet address, from which the requested page has been called (referrer), et al. cusy reserves the right to use this data in an anonymized form and without any correlation to the user for statistical purposes.

  After logging in to the cusy website with user name and password, cookies are used to identify the user during a session. A cookie will be stored on the user’s computer during the visit of the cusy website and automatically deleted upon the termination of his visit.

Video chat

At meet.cusy.io we operate a video chat service based on Jitsi Meet. The data is transmitted to the server encrypted using DTLS (Datagram Transport Layer Security) and SRTP (Secure Real-time Transport Protocol). The data is decrypted and processed on the Jitsi Meet server. However, the server is configured in such a way that it neither saves the participants’ IP addresses nor transmits data to external STUN servers.

The cusy website contains links to external websites of third parties. cusy is not responsible for the privacy policies or the content of these websites.

Amendments to this policy

cusy may change this privacy policy with respect to applicable law from time to time. Changes will be posted on this site.
